Keynote Speakers

Each year, we feature Rotary International leaders and other special guests as our keynote speakers. They share with us tools for personal growth; they challenge and inspire us; they bring to us a moment of humor. We are working on featured speakers for PETS 2026. Below were our featured speakers for PETS 2025:

Mário César Martins de Camargo

President 2025-2026, Rotary International

Joining Rotary in 1980, at the age of 23, Mario is business consultant to the printing industry and former director of Gráfica Bandeirantes, a printing company founded by his father. Under his leadership, he expanded the company to be a supplier of printed material for clients in Brazil and South America including Visa, Ford, Volkswagen, and Microsoft.

Mario attended military school and graduated from a high school in St. Paul, Minnesota, during a youth exchange program. He earned his undergraduate degree at the Fundação Getulio Vargas School of Business Administration in São Paulo. He also received his law degree from the School of Law of São Bernardo do Campo. He enjoys reading history and biography books and appreciating good wine.

Mario is a recipient of The Rotary Foundation’s Distinguished Service Award. He and his wife, Denise, are Level 3 Major Donors and Foundation Benefactors.

Patrick Eakes

Director 2025-2027, Rotary International

Patrick earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering at North Carolina State University. He has operated a high-end custom metal manufacturing business for the past 29 years.

Patrick led his club’s drive to become Rotary’s first Triple Crown Club (100% Paul Harris Fellow, 100% Sustaining, 100% Benefactor simultaneously). While district Rotary Foundation Chair, District 7690 led the world in 100% Sustaining clubs for five years and became Rotary’s first 100% Paul Harris Fellow district.

Patrick is married to Kristen, and they have two children who are both college students and active in Rotary projects. Patrick enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and wine collecting.  Patrick is a recipient of the Distinguished Service Award and the Service Above Self Award.

Taylor Huie

Rotary International Membership Committee
Vice Chair 2024-2025

Taylor Huie is a Medical Device Design Engineer at Stryker Instruments in Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA. A class of 2021 Biomedical Engineering graduate, she was Charter President of the Rotaract Club of Duke University, launching with an initial 400 members.

In Rotary, Taylor serves as Vice Chair of Rotary International’s Membership Growth Committee and President of the Rotary Club of Kalamazoo. She is also an active member of the Rotaract Club of Kalamazoo and serves on leadership with Ascension Rotaract Network MDIO, supporting Zones 25B and 28 through 34.

A global speaker for Rotary International, Taylor has led discussions on starting and sustaining Interact and Rotaract Clubs, supporting the Family of Rotary, and fostering membership growth through strong cross-generational partnerships. She is honored and excited to share what she has learned about motivating others through a life of “Service Above Self.”

Nicole Greer

Build a Vibrant Culture CEO

As the principal coach and CEO of Vibrant Coaching and Consulting, Nicole Greer, MSOD helps individuals, corporations, government entities, and non-profits become the people they were created to be through defining and fulfilling a mission, to working better in teams, and exemplifying excellent leadership.

For the last 20 years, Nicole has worked as a coach, organization development consultant, master of first impressions, and leadership trainer in the many facets of business. Her experiences working with all kinds of people led her to found Vibrant Coaching and Consulting. Nicole is a speaker, trainer, facilitator,  consultant, life and business coach.

Nicole’s coaching purpose is to facilitate movement…significant movement. Nicole’s approach to organization development is to energize, influence, and impact the client’s goals, situation, problems, dynamic or lifestyle.

Aaron Back

Co-Founder, NC Law Enforcement Assistance Program

A co-founder of the North Carolina Law Enforcement Assistance Program (NCLEAP), Aaron manages Post Critical Incident Seminars and Training throughout North Carolina.  As a retired Captain with the NC State Highway Patrol, Aaron brings 30 years of law enforcement experience to the programs at NCLEAP.  He also continues to serve as a Special Reserve Agent with the NC Alcohol Law Enforcement, a peer for First Responders across ten states, and is the Peer Director for the North Carolina Responder Assistance Initiative with NC Emergency Management.

NCLEAP offers peer-driven assistance to law enforcement officers, firefighters and first responders who have been involved in critical incidents. Mental health professionals help tremendously in dealing with critical incidents and the use of peers are an invaluable resource for those working through traumatic experiences. The organization is focused on turning vulnerability into strength through education, training, and peer support.

Lee Adams

Governor 2014-2015, District 7720

A member of the Rotary Club of Greenville since 2015, Leigh’s husband, Ed, is also a member of the same club. Both are Level III Major Donors, Level III Bequest Society members, and Paul Harris Society Members. Lee received RI’s Service Above Self Award in 2018.

Lorraine Angelino

Governor 2013-2014, District 7750

A member of the Emerald City Rotary club since 2002. Currently, RRFC for Zone 33 and Chair Mid‐Atlantic RLI Board. She is a Major Donor, Bequest Society and Paul Harris Society member. Received Service Above Self, Meritorious Service, and Distinguished Service awards.

Nancy Barbee

Governor 2009-2010, District 7730

Nancy has been a member of RC of Maysville since 2000. She is a Major Donor, Bequest Society Member, Polio Plus Society Member. Nancy currently serves as the Zone 33  End Polio Now Coordinator. She leads NID teams to India for polio eradication yearly! She has three sons and one granddaughter.

April Clark

Governor 2018-2019, District 7730

A member of the Jacksonville club, April joined Rotary in 1999, is a Paul Harris Society, Bequest Society Member and Major Donor. Active in her community, April has served three National Immunization Days in India. April and Jeff have a daughter, Grace.

Deb Corbett

Governor 2023-2024, District 7680

Debb Corbett is a leadership trainer, speaker, and mental health professional. Entering her twentieth year in Rotary, Debb is a Major Donor, Paul Harris Society member, and Benefactor.  Debb and her husband, Bailey, have three adult sons.

Ken Dresser

Governor 2014-2015, District 7680

A member of the Rotary Club of North Mecklenburg County for over twelve years, Ken is a member of the Paul Harris Society and the Bequest Society and is on the RLI Faculty. Ken and his wife Barbara have three children and ten grandchildren.

Vanessa Ervin

Governor 2014-2015, District 7730

A healthcare administrator, Vanessa joined the Jacksonville Rotary Club in 1992 and has served in several Zone 33 leadership roles. She is a Major Donor, Benefactor, Paul Harris Society Member, Bequest Society Member, led effort to establish a dialysis center in India, and has received the Rotary Service Above Self Award.

David Hayden

Governor 2020-2021, District 7710

A member of the Capital City Rotary Club since 2006, David is a Bequest Society Member and Paul Harris Fellow. A retired Army Colonel and practicing attorney, he supports Veterans and their families in NC. He is average at golf, but always hopeful.

Tracey Ivey

Governor 2019-2020, District 7720

A member of the Rotary Club of Goldsboro since 2007, Tracey is a Major Donor, Bequest Society and Paul Harris Society member. She and her husband Mitch have three sons, Ben, Cade, and Matthew.

Angela Bendorf Jamison

Governor 2021-2022, District 7710

Angela joined the Rotary Club of Wakefield/Wake Forest in 2010. She founded Communicopia, a public relations marketing agency in 1998. Angela enjoys the opportunity to Amplify Rotary in clubs and communi􀆟es.

Matthew Kane

Governor 2014-2015, District 7710

Matthew joined the North Raleigh Club in 1996. After learning how Rotary perfectly blends fellowship with service, he got active in grant projects and community service. He was twice selected as “Rotarian of the Year” and is a member of the Paul Harris Society.

Tammy Mosteller

Governor 2022-2023, District 7670

Current President of the newly formed Alz Research E Club,  Tammy is a Paul Harris Fellow, District 7670 CART Chair and a Regional Director for The CART Fund.  She and her husband Tony, have two sons and three grandchildren.  Tammy is the owner/broker for Benefits Specialist, LLC.

Beth Padgett

Governor 2020-2021, District 7750

A member of the Beth Rotary Club of Greenville (SC), Beth was the first woman to become club president in 2001. Beth is a Major Donor, Bequest Society and Paul Harris Society member, a Benefactor, and an RLI Graduate.

Brenda Shaw

Governor 2013-2014, District 7720

Brenda joined Rotary in Alabama in 1990, and is now a member of the Rocky Mount club. She is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, Sustaining Member and a Benefactor. Her husband, Bill, is also a member of the Rocky Mount club, a Paul Harris Fellow and a Benefactor.

Jon Spillman

Governor 2018-2019, District 7690

A member of The Rotary Club of Guilford since 2004, Jon has served his district in several roles, including Assistant Governor, Governor’s Aide and District Grant Chair. Jon and his wife Alison have two children who also participate in many Rotary service projects.

Nathan Thomas

Governor 2022-2023, District 7710

Nathan is a Key Account Manager at LEONI responsible for managing the business relationship with global commercial vehicle customer Caterpillar. He attended the University of Cincinnati, graduating in 2015 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.

Beth Trotter

Governor 2019-2020, District 7680

A member of Mecklenburg County-South Rotary, she joined Rotary in July, 2010. Beth and her husband, Rodney Holtzmuller, are Major Donors, PHS and Bequest Society members. They have four married adult children and 11 amazing grandchildren.
