Charles is also a member of the Paul Harris Society. Charles enjoys time with family, travel, various community activities and photography. He and Sandra are active members of Asheboro's Balfour Baptist Church.

She also established a Twin City partnership with The Rotary Club of Dhanbad, India and was a guest speaker at D3250 District Conference in Orissa, India.
